ArBa3d Full has all the features of the standard version plus the following ones:- Image distortion: Most of the time, the lens of the camera distort the images.
Typical problems in digital photos are Barrel and Pincushion distortion.
The folowing image shows the most common problem (the barrel distortion).
The lines (bricks, window) should be perfect lines, but they are rounded. This is more obvious on the borders of the image.
If a model is extracted directly from this image, we will end up with a rounded object. The photos must therefore be corrected before extracting models from them.
The software can remove the distortion from the images, using a line with 3 vertices. - Polygon subdivision: Each contour (a set of edges defining a closed polygon) is automatically subdivided in smaller triangles:
The textures is visually distorded to fit with the real contour (in the real coordinates and not in the photo where the perspective modifies the images). - Output formats: OpenFlight V16.2, VRML 2.0, OBJ, Web3D V3.0, Google Earth V2.1
